Mr. Shaun Gordon is Managing Partner and founder of AGI Partners LLC, an alternative investment management firm that deploys capital in private equity investments and special situation opportunities from our funds. Mr. Gordon also serves as Executive Chairman of Pristine Environments, a company that delivers specialized facility services to the Government, Healthcare, Higher Education and Commercial sectors. Previously, Mr. Gordon was a portfolio manager at Enso Capital Management, a global alternative investment management company based in New York. During his tenure at Enso Capital, Mr. Gordon was responsible for Enso’s global healthcare and consumer sector investments.

Previously, Mr. Gordon was a portfolio manager at Enso Capital Management, a global alternative investment management company based in New York. During his tenure at Enso Capital, Mr. Gordon was responsible for Enso’s global healthcare and consumer sector investments. 

Mr. Gordon is an active mentor of high-risk youth and is involved in various charities focused on education and healthcare. Mr. Gordon is a founding member of the Board of Trustees of Success Academy Bronx 1, a free, public elementary charter school. Mr. Gordon is also a member of the Board of Directors of Young Angels of America, an after school mentoring program that fosters a culture of philanthropy in adolescent Americans, and a member of the Advisory Board for The Resolution Project, an organization that develops socially responsible young leaders.

Mr. Gordon holds a BS in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Mr. Acharya is a Board Member of Impact XM, a leading provider of experiential marketing solutions for global clients and a portfolio company of AGI Partners LLC.

Previously, Mr. Acharya was a Director of a NYC based private equity firm. Mr. Acharya was responsible for investment sourcing and execution. Among other accomplishments, he sourced and executed Revolution Dancewear for this NYC based private equity firm (co-sponsored with Incline Equity Partners), an investment that won the Consumer Products Deal of the Year from the Global M&A Network.

Before joining this NYC based private equity firm in 2009, Mr. Acharya was a Vice President with Apprise Media, a private equity firm focused on niche media investments, where he worked with the founders of PRIMEDIA, a former KKR founded portfolio company. Mr. Acharya invested over $200 million in niche media companies across digital, events and print products in North America, Europe and Asia. He has made significant contributions to Apprise Media’s largest portfolio company: Canon Communications, the leading B2B media company focused on the $3 trillion advanced, technology-based manufacturing industries. Canon was successfully sold to United Business Media in 2010.

Prior to his time at Apprise Media, he spent 10 years as an investment banker in the highly ranked leveraged finance groups of JP Morgan Chase and Toronto Dominion Securities where he advised, structured and raised over $18 billion of capital for leading financial sponsors, media, telecom, consumer product and other various companies across the globe. He also advised clients on debt tender/consent transactions that affected over $4 billion in debt. In addition, he was involved in numerous private equity investments including Rural Cellular Corporation (sold to Verizon), Voicestream (aka T-Mobile), Completel, Bresnan Communications, Intermedia Communications (Leo Hindery’s Cable Venture), as part of Toronto Dominion’s merchant banking investments.

Mr. Acharya is a Board Member of the ACG NY Chapter, the premier association in New York City for middle market deal making professionals and EVP of the executive committee where he works with the Chairperson and President in developing and executing its strategy/operations. Also, he is a member of the Advisory Board of The Sport Source, the leading educational technology company in providing students with access to scholarship information for collegiate athletic programs across 23 sports.

Mr. Acharya holds B.S. and M.B.A. degrees, both conferred with honors, from St. John’s University. He was also selected for the Executives-In-Residence program where he worked with leading executives from financial service firms. In addition, he was inducted into Omicron Delta Epsilon, the economics and finance honor society.

Michael O'Sullivan

Michael O’Sullivan is a Partner and General Counsel of AGI Partners LLC, an alternative investment management firm that deploys capital in private equity investments and special situation opportunities from our funds. Mr. O’Sullivan has approximately 20 years of sophisticated legal experience, both in large law firms and in-house at major US companies.

Most recently, Mr. O’Sullivan was Of Counsel to The Pomeroy Law Group, where he counselled corporate clients on a wide variety of commercial matters.  Prior to that, from 2004 through 2013, he was Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Microban International, Ltd., a global provider of engineered antimicrobial solutions.  At Microban, he oversaw the initial investment in that company by TA Associates, as well as the subsequent sale of 100% of the company to Barr Brands International.  From 2000 through 2004, Mr. O’Sullivan served as Assistant General Counsel of EMCORE Corporation, a Nasdaq-listed manufacturer of advanced compound semiconductor products, where he was primarily responsible for securities compliance and commercial transactions. From September 1995 through April 2000, Mr. O’Sullivan was an associate at the New York office of White & Case LLP, where he specialized in securities law.

Mr. O’Sullivan has a J.D. with High Honors from Duke University School of Law and a B.A. magna cum laude from Dartmouth College.

Calvin Wells is a Principal at AGI Partners LLC, focused on early stage investments, business development, investment analysis, and transaction structuring. Prior to joining AGI, Calvin was a Managing Director at Brookline Group, a FINRA registered Broker-Dealer. Mr. Wells facilitated investments in public markets, private markets and special situation funds. He sourced, conducted due diligence, and executed investments in several technology, life-science and healthcare industries. He also expanded Brookline’s presence to California by opening and managing operations of the Newport Beach office, which included a team of investment bankers and sales & trading desk. Calvin Wells is a Principal at AGI Partners LLC, focused on early stage investments, business development, investment analysis, and transaction structuring.

Prior to joining AGI, Calvin was a Managing Director at Brookline Group, a FINRA registered Broker-Dealer. Mr. Wells facilitated investments in public markets, private markets and special situation funds. He sourced, conducted due diligence, and executed investments in several technology, life-science and healthcare industries. He also expanded Brookline’s presence to California by opening and managing operations of the Newport Beach office, which included a team of investment bankers and sales & trading desk. In addition, Mr. Wells served as a representative of Brookline Investments, a SEC registered Birmingham based RIA, where he advised high-net-worth individuals on their investment portfolios.

Before joining Brookline, Mr. Wells was an Analyst at Pope Asset Management, a global investment management company based in Memphis where he conducted extensive investment research on global companies across a wide variety of industries including healthcare, oil & gas and technology.

In addition, Mr. Wells helped establish Camp One Ventures, a Palo Alto based venture capital fund that acquires minority stakes in emerging growth technology companies. Mr. Wells remains an active advisor to Camp One and is a member of the Investment Committee for the fund.

Mr. Wells received a B.B.A. in both Management and Finance from the University of Mississippi and holds Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses.
